In short

Multimek Baltic, an Estonian metalworking company owned by the Finnish company Multimek Oy, has opened a new office and production building in Kehra after an investment of EUR 2.2 million. The 1,800 square metre building stands next to the company's existing plant.

Multimek Baltic, a metalworking company in Kehra, has taken a new office and production building into use. Invest in Estonia reports that the investment was EUR 2.2 million and that the building was opened on 23 September.

The new building has 1,800 square metres of floor space and stands beside the plant the company already runs in the town. It gives room for more production and for a product of the company's own, in addition to the contract work it does today.

Rinno Saviir, who heads the Estonian factory, is quoted as saying that the building will bring new jobs to Kehra and strengthen the plant’s role in the region’s economy.

Multimek Baltic was founded in 2012 and belongs entirely to its Finnish parent, Multimek Oy. Its revenue in 2025 was EUR 16.58 million, compared with EUR 14.75 million the year before, and it had 69 employees at the end of the year. Together with the building the company is buying a fibre laser cutting machine and an electric forklift, in a project meant to use materials and energy more sparingly.

The company is an example of a common structure: a business from another EU country that manufactures in Estonia through an Estonian private limited company which it owns in full.
